eMac Gone?

October 12, 2005

World of Apple has found out something very important, and it is the fact that Apple is fading out the eMac. Here is a comment I made on World of Apple’s post: I think that Apple has faded out the eMac from households, into education. You can still find the eMac at: the Apple education […]

New iMac with Front Row

October 12, 2005

Here is another one that really blew me away. I love the new iMac, and I’m jealous of the ones who will get it. I think the iSight is kind of cool, but the real advantage of the new iMac is Front Row. Front Row, is basically an Apple “Media Center”. When Steve was demoing […]

iPod 5G is here!

Wow! A Video iPod and a “Media Center iMac”

October 12, 2005

I really got blown away today, when I saw the announcement at 2:00 (eastern time). I checked at 1:00, but Apple’s store was down. I cannot beleive how much Apple surprised us today, as they always do. I will discuss each new product soon.

Yahoo! Podcasts

October 10, 2005

Yahoo now has a podcast section on their website, where you can find and download podcasts of your choice. The thing is, it is all done online. I like that, and I think that is a good idea. An iTunes podcast killer? No way. But, I do think it will help let the world know […]

Switch 101 Ad

October 10, 2005

I thought this was very clever when I saw this on Apple’s startpage. In case you don’t get it, the control key is used on Windows computers the same as the command key is used on Macs. (i.e. control+c = command+c).

Intel Powerbook or video iPod?

October 10, 2005

If you listen to tWiT 26, the TWiTs thinks that the Intel Powerbook will be released on October 12th. I think that Apple would surprise a lot of people, if they did that. If you ask me, I think that it is not the Intel Powerbook. Apple could update the Powerbooks and Powermacs, but I […]

Student Gallery

October 10, 2005

The Student Gallery is a new part of Apple’s website where students can post their own artwork to Apple.com, and people all around the world can admire their work. Students can post music they made with Garageband, photos they edited, movies, and Keynotes they made on a Mac. Then, people can rate the work. I […]

Cyberduck and TextWrangler

October 9, 2005

If you are looking for a free FTP client, Cyberduck is the way to go. It is a lot like Transmit, but it is freeware! I really like the interface, the ability to bookmark your FTP servers, and the way you can edit in TextWrangler just by right-clicking. By the way, TextWrangler is great to […]

Transmit

October 9, 2005

When I switched to Appleology, I needed to find an app to easily change and arrange my website via FTP. Transmit is so nice to have, for someone who has a website. It is so easy, and the interface is clean and simple. I can upload files with transmit, download files, edit HTML, upload photos, […]
