New Powerbooks, Powermacs

October 19, 2005

As you probably already know, the Powermacs and Powerbooks have received their supposedly last upgrade before Intel. The biggest difference is the fact that the Powermacs have two dual-core G5 processors, so that is definately a major speedbump. The Powerbooks feature an increase in battery power, and built-in-wireless.

Apple gets more attention from media

October 17, 2005

As you might have already picked up, Apple and Steve have been getting a lot of attention recently. Steve has been featured in Time magazine and also CNBC (which is a coincidence, since CNBC’s website is hosted by Microsoft’s MSN). But, I couldn’t find any detail of the report on the website. The media has […]

Petition for Front Row on all Macs

October 16, 2005

I have just signed the petition that was created by Nathan Sharp, for Apple to release Front Row to all Macs. I have an iMac G5 from a year ago, and I would really like Front Row and the Universal Dock on my iMac. I really beleive that Apple should have Front Row with iLife […]

Apple rises $4.49

October 13, 2005

What an oppurtunity for someone to make a bunch of money… Wow, I cannot beleive how much Apple has risen today. I’m not going to go into stocks a lot, but just wanted to let you know how much Apple has risen just after the announcement yesterday.

The Shortest Life Span of any iTunes: 5.0

October 12, 2005

Goodbye iTunes 5.0! iTunes 5.0 only lasted less than a month. That is incredible! No, they didn’t make it iTunes 5.1! They bumped it up to 6.0. I guess they wanted to get rid of 5.0’s bad name for bugs, and they wanted iTunes to sound like it has changed so much, that it deserves […]

New iMac with Front Row

October 12, 2005

Here is another one that really blew me away. I love the new iMac, and I’m jealous of the ones who will get it. I think the iSight is kind of cool, but the real advantage of the new iMac is Front Row. Front Row, is basically an Apple “Media Center”. When Steve was demoing […]

iPod 5G is here!

October 12, 2005

Wow! A Video iPod and a “Media Center iMac”

October 12, 2005

I really got blown away today, when I saw the announcement at 2:00 (eastern time). I checked at 1:00, but Apple’s store was down. I cannot beleive how much Apple surprised us today, as they always do. I will discuss each new product soon.

Yahoo! Podcasts

October 10, 2005

Yahoo now has a podcast section on their website, where you can find and download podcasts of your choice. The thing is, it is all done online. I like that, and I think that is a good idea. An iTunes podcast killer? No way. But, I do think it will help let the world know […]

Student Gallery

October 10, 2005

The Student Gallery is a new part of Apple’s website where students can post their own artwork to Apple.com, and people all around the world can admire their work. Students can post music they made with Garageband, photos they edited, movies, and Keynotes they made on a Mac. Then, people can rate the work. I […]
