After listening to today’s MacCast, I’ve found out about a great utility. If you don’t have a .Mac account, and don’t have an iDisk, and you want to either backup or store some files on the web, this app is for you.
This app is called gDisk, and it basically allows easy transfer of files from and to your Gmail account’s space. gDisk organizes your Gmail storage into several categories for you, like Photos, Music, Movies, Documents, etc. I have always wanted an app like this, I always email attachments to myself, but that takes forever. gDisk is just drag-and-drop simple. gDisk is version .2 Beta, so it has a lot of bugs, and I mean, a lot. But, it works, and I’m looking forward to future versions of gDisk. You can download your free version of gDisk here.
