Seashore is a great utility that I’ve been wanting for a long time. Seashore is a basic imaging app, with a few professional features. When first using Seashore, it seemed to be more of a “Paint” for Mac. But after using it for a while, I started to discover its full potential. Seashore has layers, a popular feature in Photoshop, and includes many color options and effects. You can blur images, change the color and brightness settings, and has the ability to sharpen an image. Seashore also enables you to preview in various color options, such as grayscale and CMYK. Seashore has the feel and user interface of Mac OS X, making it easy and simple to fix and make illustrations and images. For a freeware application, Seashore has a lot of potential and special features that are popular in pro applications, like Adobe’s Photoshop.

Really great program. I’ve been looking for an alternative for MS paint for Mac.
