Apple has officially released a beta version of their upcoming Safari 3, also providing full support for Windows XP and Vista, in attempts to raise global Safari browser marketshare. Apple is promoting the new Safari 3 by claiming its speed advantages over Firefox and Internet Explorer. Safari 3 for Mac improves on PDF controls, tabbed-navigation, and ‘find’ functions.
Safari 3 Public Beta is available for a free download from Apple at http://www.apple.com/safari/download/.
